Compagnie Inter\u00eeles<\/a>‘ passenger ferry Le Saint Sauveur is entering a major refit phase. This retrofit, a first for this type of vessel, aims to modernize its propulsion for a more efficient and environmentally-friendly solution.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Main stages of the project:
\n\u2705 Full hydroblasting of the hull with SETA<\/a> to recover the bare aluminum.
\n\u2705 Boilermaking work by LECAMUS<\/a> :
\n\u25fe Shortening of the vessel with cutting of the stern section
\n\u25fe Removal of current propulsion (Engines + Jets)
\n\u25fe Installation of a keel and bow thruster
\n\u25fe Reinforcement of transom to accommodate new motorization
\n\u2705 New propulsion with Baudouin engines and Hydro-Armor thrusters, more ecological and efficient
\n\u2705 Electrical and electronic systems updated by AIS ELEC, with a brand-new maneuvering system<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcc5 10 weeks of dry work, before regulatory testing and validation scheduled for June 2025.<\/p>\n
