The Hécate Atlantique Group is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year — a symbolic milestone for this La Rochelle–based group, which includes AIS ELEC, a member of Sea Pole La Rochelle.
The story began in 2005 in La Rochelle with the creation of Shipelec. Over the years, the group has steadily grown around a clear vision: to provide tailor-made, innovative and high-quality industrial electrical solutions for demanding sectors.
A major turning point came in 2014, with the acquisition of the La Rochelle site by Sébastien Villeneuve and the creation of AIS ELEC, giving new momentum to the group’s development. More recently, in 2025, the integration of ABYS Navigation, a specialist in navigation electronics, further strengthened the group’s maritime expertise.
