First drying onf the TSM ALIZÉ at the Port.
The ship TSM ALIZ2 was put on dry land for the first time at Port Atlantique La Rochelle. This operation also marks the deployment of a new laser ship centering system, combining 3D laser technologies ans TOPCON robotics.
This device replaces the old plumb line system, the accuracy of which depended on weather conditions. More reliable and modern, it allows teams to check the correct centering of the ship using two tablets located at the front and at the rear. Triangulation is provided by two onshore stations ans two onboard prisms, providing precise ans smooth control.
The teams took charge quickly, confirming the effectiveness and simplicity of this new tool.
