The VB Cognac recently underwent a technical overhaul in dry dock, enabling the completion of several essential operations to ensure the vessel’s operational performance and safety.
This project brought together several Sea Pole La Rochelle member companies, each contributing their complementary expertise:

AIS ELEC: electrical works

SETA: painting works

LECAMUS: general mechanics and steel fabrication
The main works carried out included:

An upgrade of the propulsion control system

Replacement of the aft fender, a large rubber fender used for pushing operations, installed from scaffolding at the stern of the vessel

Replacement of a hull insert measuring 4,000 x 700 mm on the starboard side

Routine technical inspections and maintenance, including sea valves, fire pump, bilge systems and vent box
